Work gets underway on Liverpool’s Metquarter revamp
The complex programme of works includes extensive remodeling of the interior to extend and open up the available space, as well as a comprehensive overhaul of the associated services to accommodate the new floorplan.
The scheme also involves breaking through the external façade to create balconied areas and terraces in a bid to enliven the surrounding streetscape and improve the visitor experience.
Once complete, the fully renovated Metquarter will offer a mix of luxury retail outlets as well as a host of premium restaurants and bars.
Meanwhile, the new Everyman Cinema will boast four screens with sofa-style seating, as well as its own stylish bar and a screening lounge which will be available for private hire and events.
