Bryson joins BSIF Registered Safety Supplier Scheme
We are pleased to be part of the BSIF Registered Safety Supplier Scheme - the UK’s premier and only dedicated independent Trade Association for PPE/Safety. The BSIF has created the Registered Safety Supplier scheme (RSSS) to support the UK safety market. The RSSS seeks to improve the quality of PPE and the capability of economic operators in the UK Occupational Health and Safety Market whilst eliminating unsafe, non-compliant and illegal safety products and services that will help to keep people safe and healthy while they are at work.
The BSIF is also the main conduit for Safety Cooperation with all the major Gov bodies/H&S UK bodies – HSE, TS, DiT, IOSH, ROSPA, BSC, IIRSM, SGUK, BEIS, BOHS, BSI.OPSS.
What does this mean for our customers?
By being a registered safety supplier it means the safety equipment and services we offer meet the appropriate standards and fully comply with PPE regulations and are correctly CE marked. We are committed to selling only Certified PPE and safety products that perform to claims made and that meet all the responsibilities of the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
For our customers this is assurance that only compliant and correctly performing products are being supplied through a capable, educated, competent supply chain.
Further, the BSIF are currently helping Government departments, Local Authorities, Importers, all Economic Operators involved in PPE/Safety, advising OPSS, BEIS, Trading Standards, etc in identifying a massive amount of fake/spurious PPE product/documentation landing on our shores.
